The best way to predict the future is to create it.

Why We Do What We Do

At ATL Flooring Technical, we stand at the intersection of second chances and valuable skills. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful belief: that every individual, regardless of their past, deserves the opportunity to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society. This belief is the driving force behind our non-profit 501(c)(3) trade school, dedicated to equipping formerly incarcerated individuals with the expertise and support needed to excel in the flooring installation industry.

Offering a Second Chance and a Solid Foundation for Success

Our Commitment to Second Chances

Building Skills, Building Futures

Our Commitment to Second Chances

We understand that life's journey can be complex, and sometimes it leads to unexpected detours. For those who have faced the challenges of the criminal justice system, reentering society can be particularly daunting. That's where we come in.

AFT is more than just a school; it's a beacon of hope and transformation. We firmly believe that people can change, grow, and thrive when provided with the right opportunities. Our commitment to second chances is at the core of our mission, and it's woven into every aspect of our program.

Empowering Through Education

Building Skills, Building Futures

Our Commitment to Second Chances

Our nonprofit trade school was founded on the principle of empowerment through education. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers the ins and outs of flooring installation, from the fundamentals to advanced techniques. Our instructors are seasoned industry professionals who are passionate about sharing their expertise.

But education is just one piece of the puzzle. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters personal growth and professional development. We understand that the journey to rehabilitation and success is not linear, and we are here to guide and support our students every step of the way.

Building Skills, Building Futures

Our mission extends beyond the classroom. We're committed to helping our students secure meaningful employment opportunities. Atlanta Flooring Tech offers job placement assistance, resume-building workshops, and interview preparation to ensure that our graduates are well-prepared to embark on their new careers.

We also believe in the power of mentorship and community. Our alumni network and ongoing support programs ensure that our students continue to receive guidance and encouragement long after they've completed our program.
